People's Development Association (PDA) was established in 1999 as a voluntary social service organization by a group of young social activists who were involved in various developmental activities and desired to have an organization of their own to basically assist, co-operate and collaborate with various social organizations- NGOs- with Research, Planning, Training and Evaluation of their programmes so as to help them to become more effective in their respective fields. This organization was formally registered on 07-09-1999 as a Trust under the Indian Trust Act with it's headquarter in Madurai at
